Pretty-50 (Pertilachlor 50% EC) is a broad spectrum, selective and pre-emergence herbicide. It is applied before emergence of weeds, within 0-4 days of transplanting. It controls grasses, sedges and broad leaved weeds. It does not harm the transplanted paddy and gives long term weed control (upto 50 days). It enters weeds through hypocotyls, mesocotyls & coleoptiles and inhibits cell division.

It has green color toxicity triangle thus safe to crops as well as to mammals. It shows no residual effect on the subsequent / follow crop.
